I was reading in one of the weekends papers, ( the Sun I think),a regular column that asks a series of 'celebrities' what 10 things they cannot live without. The sort of things that were so vital ranged from concealer, whatever that is, to toy helicopters and, of course, the latest mobile phone. Fair enough I suppose we all like different things.
If I were to do a similar list I guess that it would feature alcohol, tobacco and firearms somewhere in there together with coffee, books and bacon. But, number one would be suppositories. Anyone who has experienced the sheer misery of the piles will know the absolute joy that these little wax torpedoes can bring.
Wherever I go I am sure to take a pack of these little beauties. They are, mercifully, rarely needed, but I wouldn't be without them.
Reading glasses! Can't do a thing without them, they rate above even coffee.
