Well that's it for a bit!

I'm off on my annual fishing holiday. As in past years there will be eating, drinking, smoking and a lot of talking. I've no doubt we'll have a couple of days out, but for the main it will 10 days or so that revolves around the pursuit of fish.

The weather doesn't really matter, it is the company that matters and this year we have a couple of new faces as well as the usual gang. It will be a real pleasure to get a way from Clacton area for a bit. Here's a couple of stories that didn't make the main news from the last week or so.

The only real question is: What will happen while I'm away? I won't know because we will be completely without Internet or mobile coverage, it's back to the world of pay phones, where they still exist, for the next week or so.
